I help Mums to find themselves again amidst the chaos of #mumlife.

I started my career as a high school teacher in Wanganui and as a personal trainer in gyms in Melbourne, where we lived for 5,5 years. I have battled with food intolerances, leading to disordered eating, hormone imbalances and anxiety. I have tried what feels like every diet, or meal plan under the sun. I’ve been about 10kg over my ideal weight at a time when I felt like I was trying my hardest to lose weight and nothing was working.

My own journey has lead me to find that when you truly focus on doing things that make you feel good, everything else falls into place. It still takes planning, time and a commitment to making your health a priority, but I have realised that being the healthiest and happiest version of yourself is so much more than just eating less and exercising more. Focusing on how I want to feel has led me to creating a life I really love, that includes eating well and exercising consistently. I fit my clothes, I can enjoy treats and I feel better at 33 with 2 young children than I did for my entire 20’s.

Since becoming a mum in 2015, I quickly realised that there simply isn’t enough education and support for new mums regarding their post baby body. I completed my Safe Return to Exercise Qualification in 2018 and am a proud Body Beyond Baby Affiliate Team Member. I am on a mission now to educate and empower mums of all ages to love and appreciate their bodies, whilst at the same time becoming the fittest and happiest version of themselves.

I love spending time with like-minded people, in nature with my family and discovering new delicious, healthy recipes. My favourite ways to exercise are walking, quick high intensity workouts, yoga and if I get the chance, snow / water skiing and horse riding. I live in Feilding with my partner Dave, daughter Marlee and sons Jai and Mikaere.
